The Marlyn Monroe Chairs

At KLP Restorations, we had the privilege of working on one of our most thrilling upholstery projects to date. The two armchairs featured in the gallery below were originally owned by Marilyn Monroe. After acquiring them through an exclusive auction, the current owner had them shipped to Australia and entrusted us with their restoration.

Our work involved re-gluing the frames to ensure structural integrity, reviving the original polish finish, and re-upholstering the chairs in a luxurious silk fabric from Zepel Fabrics. The result is a stunning blend of historical charm and contemporary elegance.
